Job Details
Reporting to the Community Development Librarian, the Program Facilitator supports programming and outreach initiatives. They deliver prepared programs and support Community Development staff with activities and events.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience normally associated with a secondary school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years of experience with delivering programming. A familiarity with a variety of on-line databases and library related computer software, including Microsoft Office applications and Integrated Library Systems (SirsiDynix) is an asset. The ideal candidate will have AODA training, the ability to work effectively with the public and with people of all ages, and a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. A clear vulnerable sector criminal record check is required.
Note: This is a part-time temporary contract until August 2027, working up to 24 hours per week; primarily evenings and weekends.
