Financial Information for Third Party Advertisers

As required under the Municipal Election Act, 1996, Third Party Advertisers will be provided with an Interim Certificate of Maximum Campaign Expenses when nominating (May 1 - October 23 at 4:30 p.m.).  

The interim spending limit is based on electors on the 2022 Voters' List.  A final spending limit will be sent by Registered Mail to the address provided on the registration form, no later than Wednesday, September 30, 2026.  It will be based on the Voters' List for the 2026 election.

The interim spending limit is $8,256.70.  There is a separate spending limit for expenses related to the holding of parties and other expressions of appreciation after the close of voting.  This spending limit is calculated as ten percent of the amount of the general spending limit, $825.67.
