Be Prepared
For Emergencies and Safety Workshop
This popular workshop is for those older adults who want to better prepare for, respond to and recover from community-wide and personal emergencies. With information from Age-friendly Peterborough safety partners across the region, this updated workshop includes lessons learned from the 2022 Derecho and 2025 Ice Storm, heat emergencies, frauds and scams and more.
Each workshop is 1 - 1.5 hours and participants will receive the Be Prepared Toolkit including a guide and workbook as well as a scam aware fridge magnet.
