Doors open 30 minutes prior to screening time.

• Monday, October 26, at 6 p.m. - You Had to Be There
• Monday, November 9, at 6 p.m. - The Christophers
• Monday, November 16, at 6 p.m. - Akashi
• Monday, December 7, at 6 p.m. - Once Upon a Time in a Cinema 

Series passes

Passes will go on sale September 21, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.

Series passes can be purchase in the following ways:

• Through our online box office
• In person at the Peterborough Museum & Archives located at 300 Hunter St. E. during open hours (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and Statutory Holidays, 12 noon to 5 p.m.)
• By telephone at 705-743-5180

Please note that all ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any reason. 

Individual tickets 

Individual tickets will also be available for purchase 15 minutes prior to each film screening. Peterborough Museum & Archives staff will be selling tickets at a table near the concession stand in the Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough lobby.

• Individual (Rush) tickets will be $20 + HST (for a total of $22.60 each).
• Payment for individual tickets at Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough is by credit card and debit (cash is not accepted).                                                                                                                                       

Please note: Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough will open at 5:30 pm - all entrances to Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough will remain closed until that time.  Opening times for Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough will vary, but please anticipate a 5:30 pm opening for each of our films. 

Theatre seating and accessible seating

All screenings are general admission seating. Please note that PMA staff and Galaxy staff are not responsible for seating arrangements in the theatre.

Accessible Seating

A limited number of accessible seats are available in Cinema #9, located in the first row of the upper deck.

Parking

Parking is available on the lower level of Peterborough Square. The elevator at Peterborough Square is now working

Patrons will receive 3 hours of free parking from the time of entry in the parking lot.  Please use one of the parking scanners located in Galaxy Cinemas to scan your parking pass (either before or after the film).

Parking is free after 6 p.m.

Concession Stand Discount

New this season! Cineplex is pleased to extend an exclusive discount for Film Circuit attendees – 15% off all food and beverage (excluding alcohol) during each film circuit performance.  Guests can show their admission ticket at concessions and the 15% discount will be applied to their order.

Inclement weather

Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough makes every effort to remain open. If Galaxy Cinemas Peterborough is operating, our films will screen as scheduled.  

No Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. If the theatre is unable to open due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the film will be rescheduled. Updates will be shared on our website and social media.
