Summer Lab/Field Student

Job Details
Under the direction of the Manager, Laboratory & Water Services the Summer Lab Student will provide assistance to laboratory personnel in the areas of general laboratory duties, including sample reception, sample preparation, analysis, sampling and data entry in accordance with all pertinent legislation and regulations, including ISO 17025. Duties will also include assisting field personnel with sampling, taking field measurements and bottling samples.
Qualifications
Requires an individual whom is currently enrolled in College Diploma or a University degree program in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry or similar discipline. Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel and Word required. Required to comply with all Health and Safety and Municipal policies. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment are preferred.
Salary
$21.67/Hour
