Job Details

This position serves as the primary point of contact for patrons accessing programs and services offered by the Recreation Services Division. Working from any assigned recreation facility, the role is responsible for greeting and directing visitors, processing memberships, program registrations, marina bookings, and payments through the recreation software system, while maintaining accurate cash handling and daily reconciliation. The position provides front-line customer service in person, by phone, and via email, assisting with inquiries, resolving account issues, and directing patrons as needed. Additional responsibilities include monitoring facility and program capacities to ensure safety compliance, maintaining up‑to‑date program information, performing general administrative duties, managing mail and deliveries, and completing follow‑up communication regarding outstanding accounts or payments. The position is part-time, up to 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

Requires completion of Secondary School Diploma with a minimum of 3 months related or on-the-job experience.  Proficient in the use of computers including: basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and database programs in addition to basic mathematical skills; knowledge of database software is considered an asset.  Requires excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to customer service.  Must have the ability to multi-task and to maintain focus in a frequently distracting environment.

Salary

$24.09/Hour
