Job Details
Camp Leaders are responsible for the direct program planning, development and implementation of daily camp activities at designated locations, and the direct supervision of young day camp participants at the Peterborough Sport & Wellness Centre, the Riverview Park & Zoo, and various Parks throughout the City during the summer months.
Qualifications
We require candidates with experience working with children in a day camp, or recreational programs or sport settings, and who demonstrate enthusiasm and a team approach to delivering quality children’s programming. HIGH FIVE® Certification would be an asset but is not required of applicants. Successful candidates will be required to obtain the training with the support of the employer. As a condition of hire, candidates will also be required to complete Standard First Aid & Level C CPR/AED training and provide a vulnerable sector check prior to the start date.
Hours of work are expected to vary and will not exceed 40 hours/week.
This is a temporary full-time position from June 2026 to September 2026.
Salary
$18.10/Hour
