Job Details
Perform event ticket sales on the computerized ticket system, including ticket window sales and telephone orders and assisting customers purchasing over the internet. Respond to all customer inquiries for the Memorial Centre, with the highest level of customer service.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience normally associated with an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma and up to six months previous job related experience including cashier work. Proficient in the use of computers including: intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, database programs and Internet; Experience in ticketing software is considered an asset. Must have well-developed administrative, organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills (listening, written and verbal); must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to respond appropriately to calm aggressive customers. Possesses a demonstrated commitment to customer service and continuous improvement. Must have the ability to multi-task and to maintain focus in a frequently distracting environment. The candidate will need to be available for a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Salary
$20.81 per hour
