The Art Gallery of Peterborough has many roles to match your talents – exhibition tours, education programs, gallery shop and special events. Then we want you! Visit our Volunteering page for more information. High school, college and university students Join the Art Gallery Of Peterborough's Youth Volunteer Team. If you love art and enjoy working with children, you'll learn team work, child development and have an opportunity to work with professional artists in a creative space. You'll work with children ages 6 to 12 under the direction of program instructors and Gallery staff. There are volunteer opportunities during March Break, Summer Art Camps and throughout the year for Family Days and Special Events. |

For youth and students Join our dynamic Youth Leadership Program and volunteer within our award-winning Summer Discovery Camps. This volunteer program includes two days of training seminars, as well as a two-week placement in either our Junior Discovery or Summer Discovery Camp programs. The Peterborough Museum and Archives offers Student Placement and Educational Co-op positions for students from around the world: in education, museums, collections management and tourism. Learn appropriate leadership styles for various groups and situations in a recreational setting, with an opportunity to volunteer in PSWC camp and children's programs on successful completion. Peterborough Youth Council/Peterborough Youth Commission |

This is your chance to make a difference by becoming a member of the Peterborough Youth Council. The ten-member Youth Council, with support from The Peterborough Youth Commission, will engage, assist and empower young people in Peterborough to take action in addressing youth issues in our community. Volunteers will gain leadership skills, team building, and a chance to contribute positively to their community. Apply to join If you're between the ages of 10 to 21 years, and living or attending school in the City of Peterborough, you are eligible to apply. All positions are for a one-year term.
