Recreation Services Assistant

Job Details
Provide clerical and administrative support to the Customer and Membership Services of the Recreation & Parks Services Division facilities through established processes related to customer services, membership services, accounts receivable/payable and records maintenance. Provide ongoing support to Customer and Membership initiatives and development, record management and space allocation. Act as initial contact for recreation division inquiries, including in-person, digital or phone communication.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience normally associated with a two-year college diploma in Business Administration or other related course and up to 2 years related and on-the-job experience. Must have an intermediate skill level using word processing and spreadsheet software; experience with booking software would be an asset. Well-developed interpersonal, communication skills (both written and verbal); and the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate a number of tasks at one time. Work well in a team environment; and provide excellent customer service to clientele.
This position may involve working irregular hours including evenings and weekends in accordance with Article 18.10 “Alternative Hours of Work” of the Collective Agreement.
