Be the voice of Public Works and the bridge between the community and City services. As the first point of contact for the Public Works Division, you will deliver exceptional front-line customer service related to municipal services including roads, sidewalks, parks, forestry, sewers, and solid waste. You’ll respond to public inquiries, track and manage service requests using various electronic databases, and provide administrative support to help ensure the smooth operation of the Division.
Qualifications and Other Pertinent Details:
Completion of a high school diploma, supplemented by college-level courses in office administration or a related field.
Up to two (2) years of related experience, including previous and/or on-the-job training in a similar administrative or customer service role.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software; experience with presentation software is considered an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with the public and internal staff.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and contributing to a positive team environment.
Salary: $61,497.80-$65,046.80
