Job Details
We're seeking a Manager, IT Enterprise Application Support & Onboarding to join our IT management team and provide expert leadership in overseeing support and adoption of the City's core software applications. Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, you'll lead a team of IT professionals to ensure our software is effective, stable, and widely adopted by business areas. Your expertise in enterprise application configuration, integration, development, training, and end-user support will be crucial in guiding business user adoption, organizing support requests, and establishing priorities for your team. You'll also be responsible for performance reviews, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative environment where your team can overcome obstacles and contribute to both business and IT realms.
As a key member of the IT management team, you'll also provide essential Enterprise Application Governance services. This includes developing strategies to maximize software value, conducting cost/benefit analyses for solutions and enhancements, and directing software configuration, and development efforts. You'll oversee support queues, manage work plans, ensure documentation, and participate in IT budget planning, contract negotiations, and procurement. Collaborating with IT management peers, you'll contribute to the overall IT strategy, policy development, and stay current with industry standards and application roadmaps to ensure the City's technology infrastructure remains robust and efficient.
Qualifications
University degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience managing IT teams or major IT projects, including resource management. The ideal candidate will possess advanced experience in IT software and management, demonstrating the ability to plan and oversee operational projects and effectively lead staff. A strong knowledge of IT concepts, design principles, and standards is essential.
A proven leader with exceptional administration, team-building, and financial management expertise. You'll possess advanced report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for creative problem-solving and fostering trust. Adaptability, innovation, and a commitment to continuous improvement are key. Proficiency in various software, strong presentation skills, a valid Ontario Class G driver's license, and flexibility for extended hours are all essential for this role.
Salary
$124,072- $135,619
