2026 Free Tax Clinics in the Peterborough Region

The tax clinics listed below are free for those who meet income eligibility requirements. Usually, a single person with an income of less than $40,000 or a family income of less than $55,000 in 2025 would be eligible for these services. Please click on each of the bars below to find information about the different tax clinics available.

What to bring

There are forms and information you'll need to bring with you to get your taxes done. The following is a list of the types of forms and documents you will need to bring with you:

  • Social Insurance Number
  • Valid photo id
  • Mailing address
  • T3's,T4's, T5's, T5007, T2202
  • T4A - Statement of Old Age Security
  • T4A - Statement of Canada Pension Plan Benefits
  • T4RIF - Statement of income from a Registered Retirement Income Fund - slip information for individuals 
  • Rental information (#of months, where, landlord's name) or property tax information

These clinics run 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a lunch break unless otherwise stated. Tax clinics are first come, first served.

This clinic is only for people receiving Social Assistance (Ontario Works, ODSP)

Trent Valley Literacy Association

April 14 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Trent Valley Literacy Association, 210 McDonnel St.
