Rogers Cove Beach Closed for the Weekend

Peterborough, ON – The beach at Rogers Cove is closed this weekend due to high bacteria levels in the water. Residents are advised not to swim in that area and to stay out of the water.  

Beach water bacteria levels are monitored by Lakelands Public Health. More information on beach water monitoring can be found on Lakelands Public Health’s website at lakelandsph.ca.  

Beavermead Beach remains open. Lifeguard supervision at Beavermead Beach takes place daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
