Reminder: Share Your Ideas to Help Shape Peterborough’s Economic Future

Peterborough, ON – Share ideas to help shape Peterborough’s economic future by participating in the Economic Development Strategic Plan survey, which closes at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026. 

The survey is available online at connectptbo.ca/EcDevStratPlan. Paper copies are available at Service Peterborough in City Hall, 500 George St. N. 

The Economic Development Strategic Plan will guide the City’s economic growth and investment priorities over the next five years, establishing a vision, goals and actions to support local businesses, attract investment, encourage entrepreneurship, strengthen the workforce, support key sectors and create opportunities for long-term economic success. 

Community feedback will help ensure the strategy reflects local priorities and opportunities while providing a roadmap for sustainable economic growth and investment. 

The Economic Development Strategic Plan follows the transition of economic development services to the City at the beginning of 2025. Feedback gathered through the engagement process will help inform the plan, which will guide the City's economic development efforts from 2027 to 2032.
