Public Invited to Provide Feedback on Proposed Park Street North Improvements
Peterborough, ON - Residents are invited to provide feedback on proposed transportation improvements for Park Street North between Wolsely Street and Sherbrooke Street.
Proposed improvements to Park Street North include cycling facilities, speed reductions and other roadway improvements designed to support pedestrians, cyclists and motorists. All proposed changes will be completed within the existing roadway, with no changes to sidewalks, trees, driveways or boulevards.
The improvements are being considered as part of scheduled road surface repairs in 2026, creating an opportunity to enhance the corridor while completing planned maintenance. The project supports the City's Transportation Master Plan by improving safety, connectivity and mobility for everyone.
Residents are encouraged to learn more and share feedback through a survey and comment form available at connectptbo.ca/parkstreet until Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Community feedback will help inform the final recommendations that will be presented to City Council.
