Opening Celebration for Denne Park

Peterborough, ON – Members of the media are invited to attend an opening celebration for Denne Park, 2401 Bensfort Rd. on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 12:30 p.m.  

A need to improve Denne Park was identified when the City of Peterborough conducted a comprehensive review of its parks in 2019. At the time Denne Park lacked amenities aside from a few trees and an open play area. 

New features to Denne Park include a playground, paved and accessible walkways, a shaded picnic area, benches and picnic tables. New trees have been planted and landscaping in the park has been enhanced.
