Kiwanis Club of Scott’s Plains of Peterborough Donates $2,000 to Support Toddler Tuesday Program at the Peterborough Museum & Archives

Peterborough, ON – Kiwanis Club of Scott’s Plains of Peterborough has donated $2,000 to the Peterborough Museum and Archives (PMA) to support its popular Toddler Tuesday program.

Toddler Tuesday provides families with young children an opportunity to connect, learn, and play in a welcoming museum environment. Each week families can enjoy a self-guided craft or activity, explore the galleries and spend time with a variety of open-ended toys designed to encourage creativity and imaginative play. This by-donation drop-in program runs on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the PMA, 300 Hunter St. E.

The Kiwanis Club's generous contribution will help sustain and enhance this valuable early childhood program, ensuring local families continue to enjoy engaging experiences at the Peterborough Museum & Archives.

"We are grateful to the Kiwanis Club of Scott's Plains of Peterborough for their generous support of Toddler Tuesday," said Faryn Stanley, Community Program Coordinator with the Peterborough Museum and Archives. "Their investment helps us provide meaningful opportunities for young children and their caregivers to learn, explore, and create together in an inclusive museum setting."

Toddler Tuesday will resume Tuesday mornings beginning Tuesday, September 22. Admission is by donation, and no registration is required.
