Effectiveness and Efficiency Review Survey

Peterborough, ON – City of Peterborough residents are invited to complete a survey and share comments on how the municipality delivers services to help inform the City’s Effectiveness and Efficiency Review.

The survey is open until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. The survey can be completed at connectptbo.ca/effectiveness-and-efficiency-review or a printed copy can be picked up at City Hall, 500 George St. N.

The Effectiveness and Efficiency Review includes:

Collecting, reviewing and analyzing data from the City of Peterborough

Assessing selected comparator municipalities to contextualize service delivery

Reviewing service delivery models

Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery

Reviewing the organizational structure and staffing levels

Presenting analysis and recommendations to City Council

The final report is expected to be presented to City Council in September. It is anticipated that recommendations will be considered as part of the City’s 2027 Budget process.
