Notice of Hearing - Committee of Adjustment - May 19, 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following applications under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13 will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment through a hybrid hearing (Council Chamber at City Hall and electronically on Teams) on May 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

A20/26 – 542 Maniece Avenue
The applicant is seeking relief from Section 338.3(e)(ii) of the Zoning By-law to increase the maximum floor area of the northerly dwelling from 50 to 90 square metres. The request is to facilitate a change in roof style that results in an increase in floor area.

A21/26 – 81 Hunter Street East
The applicant is seeking relief from Section 6.40 of the Zoning By-law to permit a temporary structure in a Commercial District for the sale of food and beverage while the main building undergoes interior renovation. Construction is planned to start on July 28 and is anticipated to take approximately 5 weeks to complete.
Any Person may observe the above hearing electronically or in person.
Additionally, any person may make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the application.
