Volunteer for the 2026 TELUS Cup

Peterborough, ON – Be a part of an unforgettable national sporting event by volunteering with the 2026 TELUS Cup.

Taking place April 20 to April 26, 2026 at the Peterborough Memorial Centre, the TELUS Cup is bringing some of the nation’s top men’s U18 players to Peterborough for six days of fast-paced, high calibre hockey.

The City of Peterborough is seeking volunteers to help deliver a world-class championship experience for athletes and hockey fans from across Canada. From welcoming guests to supporting event operations, volunteers will play a key role in showcasing Peterborough’s spirit, hospitality and passion for ice hockey.

Volunteer opportunities include working with the game operations team, assisting with the 50/50 program, engaging hockey fans, providing medical support, media services, merchandise sales, team services and transportation.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and consent to a security screening. Some volunteer roles may require a Criminal or Vulnerable Sector record check and a driver’s abstract.

Prospective volunteers can register online or visit hockeycanada.ca/teluscup. For questions about volunteering, including roles or the registration process, please contact communityvolunteers@peterborough.ca or call 705-742-0050 ext. 2179.
