Temporary Changes to Transit Service for Holiday Season

Peterborough, ON - Peterborough Transit is advising customers of upcoming seasonal and holiday service changes in effect from Sunday, December 21, 2025 to Saturday, January 3, 2026.  

Seasonal service hours 

Starting on Sunday, December 21, 2025, transit services will operate on the following seasonal schedule: 

• Monday to Friday: 5:15 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. (next day) 
• Saturday: 5:45 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. (next day) 
• Sunday: 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

Regular service hours will resume on Sunday, January 4, 2026. 

Temporary service suspensions  

Starting on December 21, 2025 to January 3, 2026, the following routes will be temporarily suspended: 

• Late-night service to Trent University and Fleming College. Service will resume on Sunday, January 4, 2026. 
• Water - Route 11/11A. Service will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026. 

Holiday hours 

The following transit service hours will be in effect over the holidays: 

• Wednesday, December 24, 2025 - Service ends at 8:30 p.m. 
• Thursday, December 25, 2025 - No service. 
• Friday, December 26, 2025 - Service will operate on regular Sunday hours. 
• Wednesday, December 31, 2025 - Service ends at 8:30 p.m. 
• Thursday, January 1, 2026 - No service.
