Special Meetings of Council re: St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run Road Closure

Peterborough, ON – City Council will hold a special General Committee meeting starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026 to consider a verbal report related to the St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run road closure for Sunday, March 15, 2026.

A Council meeting is scheduled to be held following the special General Committee meeting.

The meetings will be held online. City Hall will not be open for the special meetings, with participants attending virtually. 

The meetings will be livestreamed at peterborough.ca/WatchCouncil. Agendas and recordings of meetings are posted at peterborough.ca/agendas. 

A closed session General Committee meeting, an open session General Committee meeting, and a Council meeting that were scheduled for earlier in the afternoon on March 13, 2026 did not proceed as a majority of Council members did not attend, which meant Council could not hold its meetings.
