Reminder: Virtual Statutory Public Open House for Draft Community Planning Permit  By-law  

Peterborough, ON – The draft Community Planning Permit (CPP) By-law, along with interactive mapping, can be viewed online at connectptbo.ca/cpps. The CPP By-law will replace the City’s existing Zoning By-law and set new rules for how land can be used and what types of buildings can be developed across the city.  

Residents are encouraged to review the draft By-law and attend the virtual Statutory Public Open House.  

The virtual Statutory Public Open House will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, starting at 6 p.m. via Zoom. Please note that the original end time of this meeting has been changed from 9 p.m. to 8 p.m.   

This session will include a presentation on the draft CPP By-law and a question-and-answer period. Details and registration are available through Eventbrite. The session will be recorded and posted online at connectptbo.ca/cpps after the event.  

Online Feedback:  
A survey is available at connectptbo.ca/cpps until Friday, February 13 for residents who wish to provide input.  

Community feedback is an important part of shaping the final By-law before it is presented to Council for consideration in May 2026.
