Reminder: Tree Planting Event in Wedgewood Park

Peterborough, ON – Community members are encouraged to join a mass-tree planting event in Wedgewood Park, 1535 Fairmount Blvd., on Saturday, September 20, 2025 as part of Trees 4 Peterborough.  

The initiative will see 515 new native tree species planted in the park, helping to replace 250 trees that were removed from the park due to Emerald Ash Borer. 

Tree planting takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers can sign up for the event at peterborough.ca/trees.
