Parks Canada to Temporarily Close McFarlane Street Bridge

Peterborough, ON – Parks Canada is closing the McFarlane Street Bridge to motor vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians from 7 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025.  

The bridge is being closed for redecking.  

Posted detours will be in place. Alternate routes across the Trent Severn Waterway include Hunter Street East, Maria Street or Parkhill Road East.
