Media Advisory: Kawartha Food Share Cheque Presentation

Peterborough, ON – Members of the media are invited to Kawartha Food Share, 665 Neal Dr., Unit #1, for a photo opportunity on Tuesday, February 24 at noon.  

The City of Peterborough will be presenting Kawartha Food Share with the proceeds from the downtown holiday parking program.  

Sponsored by Wolfe Lawyers, the downtown holiday parking program offered free two-hour parking in municipal parking spaces, municipal parking lots and in the two downtown parking garages from November 28, 2025 to December 31, 2025.  

Any parking fees voluntarily paid at pay-and-display machines, meters or through the HotSpot App were donated to Kawartha Food share.
