Media Advisory: Celebrate the Success of Lemonade Stand Day

Peterborough, ON – Members of the media are invited to the Riverview Park and Zoo Sunday, September 21, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to help celebrate the success of Lemonade Stand Day.  

Organized by the Kiwanis Club of Scott’s Plains, "lemonaders” across the City of Peterborough took the initiative to host lemonade stands on Saturday, August 23, selling the zesty beverage to raise money for the Riverview Park and Zoo’s Accessible Playground Project.  

The Kiwanis Club of Scott’s Plains are hosting a party at the Zoo on Sunday, September 21, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the 33 families who participated in Lemonade Stand Day. Fundraising results will be announced during the celebration.
