Assistance Available for Air Conditioning Units for Eligible Residents

Peterborough, ON - The City of Peterborough may provide financial support of up to $300 for eligible residents who receive either Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Program to aid in the purchase of an air conditioner.  

Eligible residents must have a diagnosed severe medical respiratory condition or diagnosed severe asthma and are required to submit a copy of a current prescription and at least one estimate for the purchase of an air condition unit. Recipients must also have an address in the City or County of Peterborough.
