2026 Waste Management Calendar and Guide Now Available

Peterborough, ON – The City of Peterborough’s 2026 Waste Management Calendar and Guide is now available online and for pickup at three locations across the city.  

The calendar includes collection dates and practical waste disposal tips to help residents manage household waste. It also provides general information about curbside collection for green bin, garbage, yard waste and recycling, as well as details about the City-County Landfill and the Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot. 

Calendars are available for pickup at the following locations: 

• City Hall, 500 George St. N., pick up at Service Peterborough, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. 
• Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre, 775 Brealey Dr., pick up at the main desk, Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.  
• Miskin Law Community Centre, 271 Lansdowne St. W., pick up at the main desk, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday; Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Calendars are available while supplies last, with a limit of one per residence. A digital copy is also available at peterborough.ca/wastewizard.
