Update: Temporary Service Disruption, September 12, 2025

Peterborough, ON – The City of Peterborough information technology network issue on the morning of Friday, September 12, 2025 has been resolved and all related services are fully functional. 

The City regrets any inconvenience that may have been experienced for customers during intermittent service disruptions associated with the network situation and appreciates the patience and understanding while the situation was resolved.

The City of Peterborough is experiencing intermittent disruptions to its information technology network and applications, which may affect the municipality’s phone systems as well as in-person and online services such as the ability to complete payments, on Friday, September 12, 2025. 

The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause. An update will be provided when the situation is resolved.
