Pre-consultation

A pre-consultation meeting with City Staff is required per By-law 23-032 prior to the submission of a development application for:

  • Official Plan Amendment
  • Zoning By-Law Amendment
  • Site Plan
  • Plan of Subdivision
  • Plan of Condominium

Pre-consultation meetings provide an opportunity for City Staff to:

  • Clarify the application process
  • Identify key issues and provide preliminary comment
  • Identify and confirm the necessary plans, supporting studies and any other information that would be required for a Complete Application when formal submission is made.

Applicants are required to pay a fee of $1,250 prior to the Pre-Consultation meeting. City Staff will reach out with payment details, once the Pre-Consultation application has been submitted.
