Peterborough, ON - “The Link” rural transit service to Selwyn Township begins on Monday May 3, 2021, operating from Monday to Friday (except holidays). There are two separate routes; one serving Curve Lake and Lakefield; the other serving Ennismore and Bridgenorth. Both routes will connect with Peterborough Transit services at Trent University. Separate fares apply.

Peterborough Transit Route 7 Lansdowne will begin using the 7A routing via Ashburnham, the Lift Lock and Hunter, its seasonal route from May to October. Stops on Rogers Street between Maria Street and Hunter Street will continue to be served by Route 4 trips.

In response to demand, rush hour and late-night trips have been adjusted on Route 5 The Parkway, Route 6 Sherbrooke and Route 7 Lansdowne starting May 2, 2021.

Transit service updates effective May 2, 2021:

  • Rush hour 6B trips have been suspended from service:
    • Eastbound from the Terminal to Trent: 7:22 a.m., 7:52 a.m., 8:22 a.m., 8:52 a.m., 9:22 a.m.
    • Westbound from Trent to the Terminal: 3 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m.
  • Rush hour 7B trips have been cancelled from service:
    • 7:50 a.m. from Willowcreek to Fleming and 2:15 p.m. from Fleming to Willowcreek
  • Routes 5 The Parkway and 6 Sherbrooke have suspended late night service on weekdays and weekends.
    • Northbound Route 5 finishes at 11:35 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and 7:35 p.m. on Sunday
    • Eastbound Route 6 finishes at 11:50 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and 7:50 p.m. on Sunday
