What do you look for or enjoy at a farmers’ market? The City of Peterborough is asking the community to share preferences and ideas for a farmers’ market in Peterborough through a survey, available online and in print, that is open until July 31, 2019.

The City will be going through a process to select a farmers’ market operator for Morrow Park when the current licence agreement expires in May 2020. To help define how a market on City property could look in the future, the City is consulting with the existing market operators and vendors in the City as well as the broader community.

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. You can complete the survey online. Hard copies are available at the main reception of City Hall and the service desk at the Peterborough Public Library.

The survey is open until 4:30 p.m. on July 31, 2019.

A report on the process for selecting a farmers’ market operator will be going to City Council in the early fall.
