Peterborough, ON – Join the conversation on public art in the City of Peterborough through a community consultation that will help guide an update of the City’s Public Art Program

A community forum will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019 in the Friends of the Library Community Room at the Peterborough Public Library, 345 Aylmer St. N.

The forum will be facilitated by an external facilitator with a strong background in strategic planning.

The consultation will help evaluate the City’s Public Art Program and create a strategy to keep it vital, robust and relevant moving forward. The conversation will include defining public art for our community, why it’s needed, who makes it, who pays for it, and how long it should last.

The session is open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend. The Peterborough Public Library is an accessible venue. Light refreshments will be provided.

Please confirm your attendance by June 14 by email or by phone at 705-742-7777 ext. 1445.
