Peterborough ON – Peterborough Museum & Archives will be closed to the public on Sunday, September 13 due to a planned power outage.

This is the first of two outages planned by Peterborough Distribution Inc. that will affect the area of Hunter Street just west of Armour Road, to a point just east of the new East City school entrance.

The outages are required to install new power lines that are to accommodate the growing requirements for the area.

The second planned outage is scheduled to take place sometime after Thanksgiving.

For more information, please contact the Museum’s Visitor Experience Coordinator, Dustin McIlwain at: dmcilwain@peterborough.ca or by calling 705-742-7777, ext. 2479.

Peterborough Museum & Archives is scheduled to reopen Monday, September 14 at 8:30 a.m.
