Ontario Government to distribute COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Tests at several Peterborough locations

Peterborough, ON - The Ontario government is distributing COVID-19 rapid antigen tests at several locations in Peterborough over the next few weeks as part of its provincewide efforts to enhance access to publicly funded testing.

Rapid antigen tests provide results in 15-20 minutes after administering the test.

The Ministry of Health is distributing rapid antigen tests in Peterborough over the next several weeks at the following locations (while supplies last):

  • Peterborough Farmers’ Market, Morrow Building, 151 Lansdowne St. W. – 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021 and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, January 8, 2022
  • Lansdowne Place, 645 Lansdowne St. W. – Tuesday, December 21 to Thursday, December 23, 2021 starting at 7 a.m. each day
  • Morrow Building, next to the Peterborough Memorial Centre, 151 Lansdowne St. W. – 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021
  • Peterborough Public Library, 345 Aylmer St. N – Wednesday, January 5 and Thursday, January 6, 2022, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Distribution is provided at each location during the Province's holiday pop up campaign while supplies last. More information is available at ontario.ca. At sites distributing tests, there is a limit of one test kit per person.
