Take Notice that the City of Peterborough has received the following applications, and pursuant to Sections 34 and 51 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13, the General Committee will hold a public meeting electronically, through the City’s website, at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020:

The applicant is requesting the approval of a Temporary Use Zoning By-law to allow for the construction and operation of a new-home sales office with private water and wastewater services together with three model homes in conjunction with the applicant’s current subdivision development on site for up to three (3) years.

The applicant proposes amend Draft Approved Plan of Subdivision 15T-16501 to introduce a municipal rear laneway, to make minor adjustments to proposed lot widths and block boundaries, and to adjust access to planned stormwater management ponds. The applicant proposes re-zone portions of the subdivision to provide flexibility for reduced side yard building setbacks, to establish a special residential district for rear lane-based homes, and to reflect revised stormwater management pond access locations.

The applicant proposes to modify the current SP.268-244,5h – Special Commercial Zoning District to add 'office' as a permitted use with a maximum floor area of 350 square metres. The applicant also seeks to introduce additional site-specific regulations to reduce the minimum landscaped open space requirement from 10 metres to 4 metres along the northerly lot line and from 1.5 metres to 0.8 metres along the easterly lot line. In addition, the maximum building coverage is proposed to increase from 25% to 30% to recognize a Minor Variance granted in 2005 for the existing building.
