Take Notice that the City of Peterborough has received the following applications, and pursuant to Sections 16 and 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c.P.13, the City of Peterborough General Committee will hold a Public Meeting in the Council Chambers, City Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

Council has authorized the processing of a municipally-initiated, site-specific Official Plan Amendment to exempt the proposed severn-storey, 76-unit apartment building from conflicting policy in the Official Plan requiring parking facilities for mid-rise residential to be located to the rear of the property

The applicant proposes a site-specific amendment to the UC - University and College zoning district to add school and daycare uses to the list of permitted uses.

The applicant proposes to amend the existing SP.189 zoning district to permit three dwelling units on the subject lands. The applicant is seeking amendments to the list of permitted uses, increase the maximum commercial floor area, increase the maximum building coverage, and reduce the minimum building setback. There are no exterior changes being proposed to the property.

The applicant proposes to amend the existing SP.245 zoning district to permit a 26-unit stacked townhouse development on the subject lands. The applicant is seeking amendments to the list of permitted uses and to the site-specific development standards for the SP.245 Zone.
