Peterborough, ON – Mayor Diane Therrien proclaimed Tuesday, December 3, 2019 as International Day of Persons with Disabilities, promoting awareness about disability issues and bringing attention to the benefits of inclusiveness and accessibility community.

Everyone is welcome to join a “Snack and Chat” at the Peterborough Transit Terminal, 190 Simcoe St. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 10 a.m. to noon to discuss transit, accessibility and ideas for improvements. This is an opportunity for transit users and bus drivers to discuss the City’s bus system. This information is also on our City of Peterborough website at
