Peterborough, ON – The City of Peterborough’s HotSpot parking app now provides users the option to use the app to pay for parking at the Simcoe Street Garage and the King Street Parkade.

“We are excited to bring this option for Peterborough drivers. They’ll now be able to use their one convenient app to pay electronically for all City parking including on-street, surface lots and in the parkades,” remarked Mayor Diane Therrien.

Drivers using the HotSpot app can conveniently tap their phones on the Hotspot sensor when they enter the parking garages and again when they exit. Users will only be charged for their actual time in the parkade. As always, the first hour is free in both parking garages.
