Peterborough, ON – Trinity Community Centre, which provides warming room services on behalf of the City and County of Peterborough, is extending its hours of service and will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Sunday, January 14 to Wednesday, January 17, 2024, due to extreme cold temperatures in the forecast for the Peterborough area.

Trinity Community Centre is located at 360 Reid St., with the entrance off Simcoe Street. A full description of services at Trinity Community Centre, including the winter overnight program, is online at www.onecityptbo.ca/trinity-community-centre.

Emergency shelters are open and available to people experiencing homelessness who require emergency overnight shelter. Temporary alternative accommodations for overnight stays may be made available based on shelter network capacity. Individuals are asked to contact the shelters first for space:
