Peterborough, ON – After almost 10 years with the City of Peterborough, Commissioner of Corporate and Legislative Services Patricia Lester is no longer with the City of Peterborough.
Ms. Lester joined the City as the City Solicitor in July 2009. In May 2018, Ms. Lester became the Commissioner of Corporate and Legislative Services for the City of Peterborough.
The Commissioner of Corporate and Legislative Services is the senior manager for the Finance, City Clerk’s Office, Legal Services, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Facilities Management divisions of the City of Peterborough.
In the interim, Richard Freymond, the City’s Chief Financial Officer and Manager of Financial Services, will serve as the acting Commissioner of Corporate and Legislative Services.
“While we’ve had a bit of turnover in our senior management team over the last year, we continue to have a great staff team at the City that will continue to deliver services to meet the high standards that our community deserves,” said Sandra Clancy, Chief Administrative Officer.
The City won’t be publicly commenting further on the departure of Ms. Lester as it is a personnel issue.
