Peterborough ON - Canadian Professional Boxing Council Canadian and International super-welterweight champion Cody Crowley will be presented with a Key to the City by Mayor Diane Therrien at the City Council meeting starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.

Crowley, who is from Douro just outside Peterborough, is 17-0 in his professional boxing career including four bouts at the Peterborough Memorial Centre that were organized by his promotional company, CCC Promotions, co-founded by Crowley.

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, the 26-year-old will be returning to the Peterborough Memorial Centre for Homecoming V: Going Global, fighting against Mian Hussain from Montreal, Quebec, in an event that will be streaming internationally on UFC Fight Pass.

Mayor Therrien is presenting a Key to the City to Crowley in recognition of Crowley’s achievements in the sport of boxing and for proudly representing the City on the international stage.
