Call for heritage tradespeople

Peterborough, ON – The second annual trade show for heritage tradespeople and contractors will take place in Peterborough on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at St. James United Church, 221 Romaine St. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hosted by the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee, in conjunction with the City’s Heritage Preservation Office, the goal is to connect contractors and tradespeople with experience working on heritage buildings with owners of heritage properties in the city.
The Committee is looking for tradespeople to participate in the show. Tradespeople with relevant experience are encouraged to fill out the application form available online at or at the Heritage Preservation Office at 210 Wolfe Street. In order to participate, tradespeople must be able to demonstrate that they have experience working with heritage buildings and that their work complies with the Standards and Guidelines for the Conservation of Historic Places in Canada. A space at the event will cost $15.
Please submit completed forms by email to or return paper copies to the Heritage Preservation Office. The application deadline is Friday, March 8, 2019.
