Peterborough, ON - Ashburnham Ward Councillors Gary Baldwin and Keith Riel will host an Ashburnham Ward meeting on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Peterborough Lions Community Centre, 347 Burnham St.
“We are looking forward to this opportunity to connect with residents in Ashburnham Ward. Join us for refreshments and a discussion about community safety with a presentation by guest speaker Staff Sergeant Mark Reesor of Peterborough Police Service,” said Councillors Baldwin and Riel.
The presentation will address policing in Ashburnham Ward, the importance of online reporting, crime prevention strategies through environmental design, and Peterborough Police Service’s Community F.I.R.S.T. Unit, which investigates property crimes, that was initiated in November 2023. Following Staff Sergeant Reesor's presentation there will be time for a question-and-answer session on crime and safety concerns.
