Summer Camps

The City of Peterborough is proud of the amazing camps we offer throughout the City. We offer camps in art, science, history, sports and more! Our instructors are trained educators and we have a team of youth counsellors to support them. All of our programs are interactive and age appropriate.

You need to complete the health and information form for each child you register into a camp.

Recreational instructional sports camps

Youth soccer camp

Peterborough City Soccer Club is for kids 5 to 16 years old and offers half day camps, Just Girls camp, Rep and Goalkeeping camps.

Football camp

Kinsmen Minor Football Club instructs our football camp. This camp focuses on training, techniques and team plays. Offered for kids ages 8 to 13 years old

Basketball camp

Craig Muir coaches our basketball camp from TASS. This camp is for youth in grades 5 to 10. Craig works on skills, shooting, passing and physical training.

Ultimate sports camp

Ultimate Sports Camp offers non-contact flag rugby and a variety of sports like archery, giant-ball soccer, cricket, disc golf and more.

Ultimate sports camp no limits

Our No Limits camp has two off-site trips to Tree Top Trekking in the Ganaraska Forest. Campers must be 9 years of age or older and stand at least 55 inches tall.

Junior tennis camp

Junior Tennis Camp is for youth ages 9 to 16 to work on basic stroke skills.

Summer discovery camp
These camps are for kids ages 7 to 11. Summer Discovery camps are one week long, and cost $200 per week.

Wildcard Wednesday camp

These camps are for kids ages 7 to 11. What makes Wildcard Wednesday different from Summer Discovery is the fact that it is simply a single day camp. The cost is $40 per day (operating on Wednesdays throughout the summer).
Junior summer discovery camp
These camps are for kids ages 4 to 6. Junior Summer Discovery camps offer the flexibility of half-day options – allowing you to sign up your little one for morning, afternoon, or full-day sessions. The cost of each half-day is $22.50.

Robotics camp

Back by popular demand is our Robotics camp, designed for youth ages 9 to 13. This one-week camp will teach kids about robots, coding, teamwork and determination through a series of challenges. The cost is $250 for the week. 

Youth leadership program 

The Youth Leadership Program is a unique training opportunity that allows youth to volunteer in two weeks of our Summer Discovery camps. Training seminars run during the first week in July and cover topics of leadership, teambuilding, and child development. The cost is $40. This covers the cost of orientation, pizza lunch, and t-shirt. Optional emergency first aid and CPR certification available at an additional cost of $65. 
PA Day Camps
Modeled after our Summer Discovery camps, these camps are for ages 4-11. PA Day camps include themed crafts, games, experiments, stories, songs, active play, and more. Led by the same instructor, both morning and afternoon sessions follow the same theme, but are independent camps with their own unique activities. Choose either a half day or full day (with supervised lunch).
