Recreation and leisure are important parts of healthy and active living. The City of Peterborough offers a variety of programs for every age group.

Skating and hockey winter registration opens Friday, November 1, 2019 at 7 a.m. To view the Spring 2020 programs please hit the Load More button at the very bottom of each section. Youth Ball Hockey is under House Leagues. 

Online registration

You can use our online registration system to sign up for our recreation programs and camps – as well as certifications, birthday packages and activities at the Art Gallery of Peterborough and the Peterborough Museum and Archives.

Recreation fee subsidy

To help residents access our recreation programs, camps and activities, we offer a recreation fee subsidy to assist low-income families that don't receive social assistance.

Fun Guide: Play outside the ordinary

Our Fun Guide is a comprehensive listing for City-run recreational and leisure programs as well as children's day camps, parks, natural spaces, trails, and bikeways. Lifelong learning opportunities, free community events and festivals, public art installations, and film, photo, and art exhibitions are also listed.

You can pick up a copy at most City creation and leisure facilities, City Hall and the Recreation Division office on Wolfe Street.
