COVID-19 Update

City staff are closely monitoring the Public Health guidelines related to COVID-19.  The Junior Parks program is planning to launch on July 5, 2021. Please continue to check back for program updates.

About the program

The City of Peterborough Junior Parks program is a free drop-in program for kids 4 to 8 years old. Staff lead children in games, crafts and theme days in the parks on weekdays during the summer. Parents must stay in the park with their children during the programs. The program staff are gearing up to offer this program in the summer of 2021. Program activities will follow Public Health Guidelines. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place and must be followed. 

Weekly Schedule for July 5 to July 23, 2021

Week 1: July 5 to July 9 - Under the Sea

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Locations: Turner Park (673 Chamberlain St.) and Kiwanis Park (234 Middlefield Rd.)

 

Week 2: July 12 to July 16 - Let’s Celebrate the Holidays

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Locations: Turner Park (673 Chamberlain St.) and Kiwanis Park (234 Middlefield Rd.)

 

Week 3: July 19 to July 23 - Disney Fun!

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
