Memberships at the Centre include many drop-in activities such fitness classes, swimming, sports and more. Non-members can also pay to drop-in to these activities. On this page you will find helpful information on how to reserve a spot in advance for all of our drop-in programs, the programs we are currently offering, and PDF copies of each of our schedules.

How to reserve a spot

Online Reservation: reservation is available online through your PerfectMind account. View programs now.

Phone Reservation: reservation is available by phone during operating hours by calling 705-742-0050. Please note, voicemails cannot be accepted to hold a spot. Confirmation must be provided by a Customer Service Representative. 

Members

  • Members reserve their spot at no cost for programs. There is no maximum number of programs members can reserve per day, or per week. 
  • There are a limited number of spots in our programs. If you are no longer able to attend, please call the Centre at least 24 hours prior to the start of the program to cancel your reservation. Members who miss 3 events without calling ahead to cancel will lose their advanced reservation privileges. 
  • If you are logging in for the first time, call our Customer Service Representatives during operating hours at 705-742-0050 who will ensure your online account is linked to your membership. 
  • To receive the correct discount or free reservation option online, your online account must be connected to your membership. Log in to your online account. If you do not see your membership listed in green, please contact the Centre during operating hours so that your online account and membership can be linked.

Non-Members

  • Non-members can also reserve a spot in programs by paying the applicable fee for that program. All passes are final sale. 
  • Some fees, such as the Group Swim rate, are unavailable online. Please call the Centre during operating hours to reserve your space using this rate over the phone at 705-742-0050.
  • Non-members are required to line up at the front desk to confirm their reservation into programs to gain access through the gate, unless they have a key tag.
  • If you attend programs regularly, we can provide you with a key tag that will grant you entry into the Centre during the time of your reserved program.

The Centre is currently offering the following fitness classes on the weekly schedule:

Aquatic Fitness Classes

Reservation system in effect for entry into all aquatic fitness classes. Members are provided one bracelet upon entry to attend one fitness class during their visit to the aquatic centre.

Aquafit: this multi-level class takes place in the shallow and deep end of the leisure pool. Great for all levels of fitness, with a variety of fun moves to keep the workout interesting! Maximum of 10 participants per class.

Gentle Aqua: designed for individuals with arthritis, osteoporosis, or recovering from an injury. This class takes place in the therapy pool and uses supportive movements to get the body active, in a gentle manner. Maximum of 8 participants per class.

Land Fitness Classes

Classes have a maximum of 10 participants per class. Reservation system in effect for entry into all fitness classes. Members are provided one bracelet upon entry to attend one fitness class during their visit to the Centre.

Bootcamp: this class combines Tabata, HIIT, and circuit training to take your fitness to a new level.

Cardio & Core: this class offers a combination of cardio drills, with a focus on core strength.

Cycling: get your sweat on and feel group the motivation during our cycling classes. In this class you will strengthen your legs and core while getting a great cardio workout. 

Hatha Yoga: this relaxing class combines focused breathing with gentle flows and balancing postures.

Low & Sculpt: this low-impact class includes a combination of aerobic and muscle conditioning movements.

Total Body Conditioning: for a great total body workout, this class combines cardio and resistance training.

Drop-in Sports

Gymnasium Sports - February 22- March 25, 2021

 

The Centre is currently offering the following activities:

Badminton: come with a partner or find one during this badminton drop-in play. The net will be set up, with birdies and rackets available to borrow by trading in your membership or student card.

Volleyball: come as a family, group of friends, or individual to recreational drop-in volleyball.

About our Swims

Fun Swim

As per provincial guidelines, Fun Swims are not offered at this time as the waterslide is unavailable.

Open to all ages and abilities, this swim offers fun-packed activities for everyone. Take a ride down the area’s largest indoor water slide, enjoy the water features in the leisure pool, or relax in our therapy pool featuring soothing jets and warm water. A Poolpod platform lift is available in the leisure pool, and accessible ramp with waterwheel chairs are available in the therapy pool. Waterwings, lifejackets, and noodles are available for use.

Please note:

  • Swimmers age 15 and under are required to wear wrist bands for Fun Swims. Take a look at our helpful poster for more information on wrist bands and ratios. 
  • Children under 10 must be supervised in the water by an adult age 16+ (maximum of 3 children to one adult).
  • Swimmers must be 42” tall and are required to pass swim test to use the slide.
  • The current maximum capacity for this swim is 44 (therapy pool 15 persons); access cannot be guaranteed if capacity is met. As swim passes provide admission to the entire aquatic centre, passes will not be refunded if the therapy pool is at capacity and access is not granted.
Lane Swim
This swim for ages 12+ is offered 7 days a week. The leisure pool is divided into 3 lanes with lap signs indicating where to swim based on speed and ability. Our Poolpod platform lift is available, and equipment such as flutterboards and pull buoys are provided. Current maximum capacity is 14 swimmers, with maximums provided in each lane based on size.
Nursery Swim
Toddlers under 4 years of age are welcome to swim with a guardian in the therapy pool. Waterwings, toys, and equipment are provided. "Little Swimmer" disposable diapers are required and may be purchased at the Centre for $2 each. Current maximum capacity of 15 swimmers.
Open Swim
Open to all ages and abilities, this swim is open for leisure swimming. When scheduled in the leisure pool, one lane is dedicated for lap swimming, while the rest of the pool is open for leisure activities. When scheduled in the therapy pool, the pool is open for leisure activities, with the swirl available.
Wellness Swim 
This swim in the therapy pool is open to ages 12+ for therapeutic purposes. Noodles and flutterboards are available, as well as an accessible ramp and water wheelchairs. Current maximum is 15 swimmers.

All facility users, through membership, registered programs, or drop-in activities are required to provide basic information to access the Centre. This information includes name, address, phone number and date of birth. We recommend creating an account online at home before visiting the facility:
